Katrina

It has really been horrible watching the news the past few days. I have so many friends in New Orleans that I have met since being here in Mexico. There has been no way to get ahold of them, and I have been really worried. Today, though, I heard from three of them, and they are safe in different parts of Louisiana. I hope to hear from the rest soon.

I am amazed at the devastation that has happened. There really are no words. We can only pray.

On a different subject, I am looking forward to my family and the Boy Scout group getting here tomorrow! I'll let you know how it goes, but since many of you who read this are coming you'll know for yourselves! :)
