2 year anniversary

Yes, incredible as it may seem today is my 2 year anniversary of living here in Mexico at Rancho 3M. It felt much like any other day as I did my normal activities.

Tomorrow I am taking 2 of our girls to the doctor, then the rest of the girls and I are going on a major school schopping spree and then buying the groceries at Sams. I feel exhausted just thinking about it!

Anyway Dean needs to get me back to work.

My Arm & Life!

I thought nothing could top the time I fell and hurt my foot and had to walk around on crutches for a day or two, but I discovered that I could embarress myself even worse than that!

It was a quiet Wednesday (ha! there are no quiet days here) and I had just returned from a long day running the girls around in Juarez. I was doing my typical thing and running to and fro on various errands. There was an American group here, and I had just finished talking to their group leader and as I turned to leave my sandal caught on the edge of the basketball court and I fell. My arm caught all my weight as I fell and it jammed the muscles so bad and hurt like crazy. Not to mention that the entire Ranch and the American group were watching. Oh there is nothing like public humiliation!

I could hardly move my arm for the next few days which presented various problems such as fixing my hair and typing on the keyboard. The girls solved the hair problem by inventing several new and very creative hairstyles for me! :) Thank goodness my arm is much better today and I can do things for myself. This also explains why you have not heard from me in awhile.

For most of this past week and this week, I have been running Joseylin around in Juarez trying to help her finish all the requirments for college. It really is outrageous the amount of time and effort it takes. She headed off by herself today for the first day of classes. There are thousands of kids that go to this college and it is easy to get lost, so pray for her in these first days of classes.

The girls keep bugging me to take them swimming, so hopefully this week we will head to the pool. I also have to go buy groceries at Sams and the meat at Wal-mart besides all my office work and work with the kids! It will all get done though, and Saturday I will have a restful day off.

Anyway that is all for now.
